Is the CFP still open? For some reason I thought the deadline was May 16th, but I could be mistaken. If it’s still open I can’t find the actual link to submit a talk.
Sorry, I don’t check ziggit regularly.
Yes I moved the deadline forward a little bit. I’m sorry that I didn’t communicate that more openly.

I’m happy to announce that Zigtoberfest 2026 will return to Munich on September 12, 2026!
Talks will cover a variety of topics, including security, embedded, parsers, and retro music.

Is anyone going to be there on Friday night and would want to meet up?
I am still undecided if I will drive there directly, or stop in NĂĽrnberg and drive the last stretch on Saturday morning. If there is nobody to hook up with on Friday night, I might as well do the latter.

I’m arriving in Munich in about 30 minutes (I’ve been in Karlsruhe for a few days). I don’t really used Discord, is that where most people are coordinating?
For evidence on the “not using Discord” front, whenever I click that link to the poll it takes me to the announcements page for a Helldivers 2 server
And here I thought I was a casual Discord tourist
.
I had to join the server through the link in the Zigtoberfest website’s footer: Zigtoberfest , otherwise the link above took me to undefined Discord places that I don’t think Discord devs have seen either!
