Ziggit.dev: Under New Administration

Greetings fellow Zig programmers and enthusiasts!

Ever since I started Ziggit.dev, it’s been a wonderful experience in community building. Unfortunately, I will not be able to continue as the owner and administrator of the forum. After reaching out to trusted community members, we will have a new owner and administrator for Ziggit.dev: Tyler Calder (@Calder-Ty).

We will be performing the transfer process in these days, so you may experience some availability interruptions from time to time, but the site should be stable once the transfer is complete.

I will be helping Tyler all I can in this transition phase and candidly ask the community to do the same and welcome him in his new role. I am also immensely grateful for his willingness and availability to keep this community alive and growing. So to you Tyler I say: “Oh Captain, My Captain!”

My very best to all of you,
José

I want to thank @dude_the_builder for setting up and operating ziggit. It has been a wonderful place for me personally to learn about zig and get to know others excited about the language. Good luck on your coming projects and thank you.

Thank you @dude_the_builder for setting Ziggit up and running it all these months / years – it is for me the best zig-related community, no ifs or buts.

Thank you @Calder-Ty for stepping up. Here’s looking at many more years!

I am not good with words, but I wish to thank you for your amazing work at building a tight community.

Great projects need people like you, like a lighthouse that guides like-minded individuals through the darkness of the sea that is the internet.

I wish you the best.
