Zig Meet-up: Tokyo, JP

Hey Everybody,

I wanted to see if there is anybody in Tokyo, who would be interested in having a casual meet up.

The idea would be to just gather, meet other fellow ZIG users, code together, and for the future build a community here in Tokyo.

If there is anybody interested please let me know, I will find some spaces and dates then.

I am close enough to Tokyo and would be interested.

@domsa You could consider organising it as a https://zig.day/ event.

@ciel Cheers for your reply.
Whereabouts in Tokyo would be easiest for you to come in terms of stations(Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc.)? I am pretty flexible.

@Sze, thanks for the tip I will look into it.
Currently I don`t know how many people from abroad would come, which is a hurdle for organizing a location.

I come in from Saitama. If we meet during the week I’d probably work from the office that day. That would be more on the Tokyo station side.

Ha. Good timing. I’m just visiting Tokyo for couple days currently. I’m staying at Kabukicho in Shinjuku. Unfortunately I’ll leave for Osaka in two days. Haven’t had a chance to work on Zig while traveling.

Zig Days are mainly for the people living near where the event is hosted.
For example Zig Day Milan (Italy) only had international presence one time when Andrew and part of the core team came to visit. Every other time we run it (once a month more or less), it’s just locals.
