Zig for BBEdit?

Does anybody have a Zig module for BBEdit they’re willing to share?

I have never heard of this before, are you talking about this.

I am curious why this is your editor of choice? It seems decent, but I’d never touch an editor that hides features, especially semi basic/standard ones, behind a subscription.

Yeah, that BBEdit. I’ve been using using it for years. I have a lot of automation and muscle memory tied up in it. I buy versions outright. It isn’t that costly and I get/have gotten friendly direct support

You can use the zig language server with BBEdit (Bare Bones Software | Language Server Protocol Support in BBEdit)

To install the language server on a mac either use homebrew (brew install zls) or download a prebuild binary file for your zig version and mac architecture from ZLS Installation Guide - zigtools

I remember when it came out in ‘92 that was the first time I’d heard the advertising phrase “software that doesn’t suck”. So it was revolutionary. :wink:
