The manufacturer also provides a developer API, so immediately there was no world in which I didn’t do some bullshittery with this.

they should have just renamed bedctl to bedcuddle to go full circle. LOL jk. great write-up, glad you like your new bed ![]()
edit:
n my head
bedctlis pronounced "bed cuttle"3, which sounds like “bed cuddle”, which is cute.
aww nvm, you had that in mind already, HAHA. idk if i’ll ever be able to sleep on one of those though. i need to try!
There’s a 50 day trial or something like that ![]()
maybe one day haha
Reading through the first output example, I assumed that you had the LAN (IP) address for the bed fixed (e.g. based on the MAC address), for easy mental association. So I was a bit disappointed that the second example did not confirm that. But maybe I just don’t know that the number 121 has specific associations.
I used to have waterbed in the early 90’s, which I bought after I found out there was a hotel which had waterbeds. IIRC the installation of those beds in the hotel were sponsored, just so you could try before buy, which I did. Have to see if there is a hotel that provides that for this technology.
Ah, waterbeds. The only time I managed to convince an American friend that their imperial units were absolute crap. He ended up agreeing, enthusiastically.
