How to enable cross compiling for the 1750A CPU located on a Spacecraft?

Would it make sense and be possible for us to provide configuration and code to be able to x-compile for the MIL-STD-1750A target? It was part of GCC up to 3.1.

The goal is to provide open opportunities in the Framework of OPS-SAT.

Thank you. Good advice.
I am reading up on those. And will probably raise an issue at microzig.
However, I am concerned about “our” architecture probably be in Tier 4.
