Data driven design in the Carbon compiler

Chandler Carruth, leader of the C++, Clang, and LLVM teams at Google and also in charge of the Carbon project (a successor language of C++) gave a talk at CppNow 2023 about how he plans to use data driven design to speed up the Carbon compiler. He mentions Zig as another great toolchain working on the same ideas.

Thanks for sharing this - I’ve always enjoyed Chandler’s presentations. I’m glad data-orientation is starting to become a more common term. I’m adding the tag “toolchain” here as it relates to Zig.
