I organized the Zig Stockholm Meetup a few years ago, but since I got kids it hasn’t really been possible. I’m not keen on keeping the meetup live anymore since I don’t use it and it costs money, but if someone wants to start hosting it again and have 143 people potentially interested in the topic, let me know and I can transfer ownership. Otherwise I will close it in a few days.

One thing you could do is send out a goodbye email to subscribers pointing them at Zig Day Stockholm https://zig.day/europe/stockholm/.
In general I think that going forward organizers will be less likely to want to keep using meetup.com (even setting aside zig.day, luma.com is free), but of course don’t let me stop you if anybody wants to take over.
That’s a good idea! I’m gonna check with Karl and see if he wants that.
I’ve been planning to create a Zig meetup group for Oslo after summer, wouldn’t mind taking a Zig group that’s close enough and keeping its history if you are willing.
