I am a 70-year-old early retired programmer (of over 30 years) who studied math (including computing) to Master’s level.
One of those give that old-time religion programming (Structured Programming by Dijkstra and Hoar; god, they drummed it into us at uni don’t think I can write any other way). I came across Zig and think it is the future. Most programs link pre-defined modules together, and Zig looks perfect for this. Of course, it can improve modules from old C and other language modules.
I don’t program much these days (I got sick of it), but I use Python when I do. I would love to see a version of TPYTHON in Zig:
