Never mind! Always happy when people chime in and an argument called --error-limit indeed looked like a candidate for this.

Thanks for mentioning the lack of built-in ways. Interesting sketch for patching the build_runner.zig, but as you say, probably not worth the churn. I will keep using my original workaround or a more surgical sed variant as you suggested.
