in addition to `zig std`, the lang ref, std source–and other source of utilities e.g build system, fmt, etc–are available plainly in your Zig install.

You can find that by running `zig env` and going to the `.lib_dir` it prints

I don’t think any sponsor is ever “no strings attached”, but it is true that Zig has shown to be pretty good at not relying on that kind of money.

In the sense that they need money which can be abused. But that is not an issue because ZSF ensures a diverse pool of donors, who are mostly individuals. I doubt they would accept a massive donation from a company that eclipses the rest **and then rely on it**
