I’m also a fan of erlang and have studied the BEAM a bit. A while back I ported the erlang build system to zig. It was quite a bit of work but turned out nicely…my AI assistant worked overtime.

I only read the first ~5 chapters before I had to switch focus, but it’s good so far.
My primary work is in Elixir (which runs on the BEAM, for those who don’t know) and it’s fun to have the curtain peeled back.
