# Anytype is getting renamed to anyval (!)

I agree. Actually that’s [my one wish](https://ziggit.dev/t/if-you-had-one-wish-for-zig-what-would-it-be/15069/23).

It could even work for destructuring generics, like `[]infer T` and such. And for making a function take the type of its result location `fn () infer T`.
